Built for enterprise.
Trusted across Asia-Pacific.
Softenger has spent 25 years earning its reputation one engagement at a time — not through marketing, through delivery. ISO certified. RBA compliant. Always on.

Started in a single office.
Scaled across continents.
Softenger was incorporated in August 1999 in Pune, India. What began as a focused IT infrastructure practice has grown into a 1,200-person enterprise with offices across India, Singapore, and Malaysia — serving financial institutions, healthcare providers, manufacturing conglomerates, and government entities across Asia-Pacific.
The growth hasn’t been accidental. Every new capability was built before it was sold. Every new geography was entered because a client needed it there — not because a growth plan demanded it. That discipline has kept delivery quality consistent through more than two decades of expansion.
Today, Softenger operates as a trusted managed services partner — not a project-based vendor. The distinction matters. Our clients stay for years, not quarters, because the service model is built around continuity, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
Founded in Pune, India
Softenger incorporated as a focused IT infrastructure services firm — a fourth-floor office on Law College Road, Pune — with a clear mandate: deliver enterprise-grade IT without enterprise-grade friction.
First global OEM accounts, and the first office abroad
HP, CA and Sun Microsystems onboarded within a single year, putting Softenger inside the support chain of three global technology vendors. The Singapore entity opened the same year — the first operation outside India, and the start of the multi-geography delivery model.
Entry into banking and enterprise software
Kotak Bank, Symantec and Mphasis added. Banking brought uptime and audit requirements that reshaped how engagements were run — the governance and escalation discipline built for those environments is still the default across every service line today.
First managed services contract
A national telecom operator moved from project-based engagement to a full managed services agreement. It set the commercial shape of the business that still applies: defined SLAs, named accountability, and continuity measured over years rather than deliverables.
First ₹25 crore year
Consolidated revenue crossed ₹25 crore — the first milestone earned under a model built on SLAs rather than headcount.
Malaysia operations established
A second Southeast Asian entity opened to serve clients requiring in-country delivery. With India and Singapore already running, the three-country footprint made regional coverage a standing capability rather than a project arrangement.
Responsible Business Alliance accreditation
Achieved EICC accreditation — now the Responsible Business Alliance standard — bringing supply-chain and labour practice assurance in line with the global manufacturers and technology firms Softenger was serving. The first external audit of how the business operates, not just what it delivers.
From support to engineering
Automation solutions, software testing, and full infrastructure project services — planning, design and execution — added as delivery lines. Clients who had engaged Softenger to run their environment could now engage it to build one.
ISO 9001 certification
Quality management certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard — formalising delivery processes built over two decades of client engagements into an externally audited system.
Recognised as a top workplace
Named 2nd Best Small IT/ITES Company in India by AmbitionBox, and 12th among all small companies, on the strength of employee ratings rather than submissions. In a services business where the same engineers stay on an account for years, retention is a delivery metric — not an HR one.
Security operations become a practice
Remote security operations launched as a standalone service, and the information security management system was upgraded to ISO 27001:2022. What began as monitoring for existing infrastructure clients is now SOC-as-a-Service delivered across BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, telecom and public sector environments.
Twenty-five years
A quarter century of enterprise IT delivery. 1,200+ professionals, 160+ active clients, six offices across three countries — operating on the same principles set out in 1999.
Consolidated revenue crosses ₹200 crore
Revenue grew eightfold from the ₹25 crore mark, with delivery now spanning India, Singapore and Malaysia. Growth came from expanded mandates inside long-standing accounts rather than a shift in strategy. The same year, AmbitionBox named Softenger a Top Rated IT/ITES Company in the mid-sized category — the small-company categories outgrown.
Enterprise AI Services, built in-house first
AI systems for IT operations and business functions launched as a service line — deployed inside Softenger’s own operations before being offered to clients. The same principle that has governed every capability for 27 years: build it before you sell it.

Three principles that
haven’t changed in 25 years.
Mission statements are easy to write. What matters is whether the behaviour matches the words. Here’s how our three core principles show up in delivery.
Accountability
over promises
We don’t just say it — we put it in writing. SLAs, governance frameworks, and audit trails are how we demonstrate commitment. Every engagement includes documented escalation paths and measurable deliverables. Not because it’s requested — because it’s the default.
Continuity
as a standard
Our delivery model is designed for businesses where downtime is not an option. 24×7 coverage, redundant processes, and proven failover procedures are built in — not offered as premium add-ons. If your environment can’t stop, neither can we.
Deliberate
growth
We’ve scaled from a single office to 1,200+ professionals without sacrificing delivery rigour. Every new capability is built before it’s sold. Every new office opens because clients need it there. Growth that compromises quality isn’t growth — it’s risk transfer to the client.
How we work matters
as much as what we deliver.
Culture is visible in how teams handle pressure, how feedback moves through the organisation, and whether people choose to stay. Here’s what ours actually looks like — beyond the poster on the wall.
Work-Life Balance, Measured in Output
We measure delivery against outcomes, not hours. Flexible engagement models and quarterly open-house sessions (Samvad) keep the feedback loop open between the team and leadership — so friction surfaces early, before it becomes a problem.
Recognition Built Into the Rhythm
Success at every level gets acknowledged — not saved for annual reviews. When a team resolves a critical incident at 2am, the whole organisation knows. Recognition is part of how we retain the people who do the difficult work.
Communication That Goes Both Ways
Quarterly Samvad sessions, one-on-one development conversations (Duologue), and direct coffee sessions with management. Concerns raised here get resolved here — not deferred into a process that produces nothing.
Investing in People Before the Skill Gap
Continuous training, cross-regional exposure, and mentorship tracks are part of the standard package — not a reward for tenure. We build capability before we need it, the same way we build technical services for clients.
Every engagement follows
a framework — not a formula.
The AOTS approach applies to every client engagement, regardless of service line. It’s how 25 years of delivery thinking has been operationalised into a repeatable, auditable model.
Advise
Clarity before action. We study your environment before we prescribe anything.
Optimize
Precision over patchwork. Stabilise, eliminate friction, tune to your SLAs.
Transform
Evolution without disruption. Move forward without breaking what works.
Support
Continuity as a standard. 24×7 coverage, documented and accountable.
1,200+ people.
One operating culture.
Across offices in Pune, Noida, Singapore, Cyberjaya, and Penang — the culture travels with the team. Diverse backgrounds, unified by the same professional standards and the same commitment to doing right by clients.

Enthusiastic, Open, and Built for Learning
Open communication and collaborative teamwork define the daily experience. Quarterly Samvad sessions bring employees face-to-face with leadership — any concern raised is addressed directly, not filed away. Events like Utsah (team celebrations), Kshitij (the annual gathering), and periodic wellness programmes keep a distributed, diverse workforce connected across six offices.
Visibility Into Your Own Impact
The rewards programme gives every individual a platform — not just those in leadership. The ability to identify root causes, demonstrate curiosity under pressure, and contribute to client outcomes is what gets noticed. Peer recognition and management visibility are built into the operating rhythm, not added on as an annual exercise.
A Multinational Workforce with Local Depth
Operating across India, Singapore, and Malaysia means genuine cultural diversity — not demographic box-ticking. Cross-regional teams bring different communication styles, local regulatory knowledge, and cultural fluency that directly benefits the clients we serve in those markets. Diverse perspectives aren’t a value statement here. They’re a delivery advantage.
A Proposition Worth Staying For
Duologue sessions — structured one-on-ones focused on professional development — give employees a mechanism to shape their own careers. Training investment, mentorship, and cross-regional mobility aren’t offered to attract talent. They’re how we build the skill sets the business needs for the next five years before the gap appears.
