The client faced exactly this challenge. IT and non-IT restructuring required a full datacenter relocation. The infrastructure couldn’t stay where it was. Two problems found
and fixed before cutover
Both challenges were identified and resolved during the pre-cutover validation phase — before any production workloads moved to the new environment. That sequencing was deliberate. The original datacenter remained the live environment until every issue had been resolved and every benchmark confirmed.
Complex infrastructure migrations surface unexpected issues.
